WOW!!!! Wolfgang Loerchner is arguably one of the World's Best and most thought after Art Knife Maker in the World. He makes his knives 100% by hand, cutting the metals, filing the pieces in place and carving the steel and handle materials. He is simply Amazing! With that said I believe this is the best piece he has ever made. It is incredible and has to be seen i person to appreciate it. The sheer size of this piece is also incredible as it measures a staggering 9-3/8" overall. If you see the bottom of this Dagger you will see an inset Damascus "Finial" I believe this is the only piece Wolfgang has ever done like this. SImply an Amazing piece that would be the Crown Jewel of any Wolfgang Loerchner collector!
